So has anyone seen this film? Can you tell me why the film isn't called "In Pursuit of Material Gain". Is the film's subtext that, you too, can have a flash car and work on Wall Street and this will definately make you happy?

What an odd film.

I can also tell you a secret which is related to this. The guy in real life was supposed to be a feature in a prominent NY based magazine, but the owners of the magazine thought that his story was unlikely and that conservative readers in the mid-west and south would not believe a black man made it rich legitimately and so pulled the story.
