Default Skin getting dry : why?!
This has happened before - I go to University in South England (Southampton), and i've come home for Xmas (Worcester, West Midlands). And my skin on my face, especially my cheeks dries up real quick and I can feel it getting really tight and it's really not liking something.

I thought it may be the change from hard water to soft water, but I swear it hasn't done it constantly (pretty sure it didn't do it all summer holiday i was back). I also thought it could be cos my dad has every radiator in the house piping hot, I dunno.

But it's pissing me off and I'm slapping on moisturiser constantly get my cheeks are still flaming up and getting dry.

Any ideas what it could be? Or how I could get rid of it?!

Might be worth going to a doctor to find out, if it's only happens in a certain place, it might just be something that you're eating or drinking or whatever?

The heat shouldnt be drying out your skin (as youve just said yourself, didnt happen in the summer). Cold will dry the skin out.

If its severe, its worth going to see your GP.

Man it's really wierd you should say this as I go to uni in sheffield and my skin is fine here, but when I go back to home, ledbury (west midlands), my skin dries up so much and is so tight, just like you describe.

hmm, any idea what it could be?

I saw my Doctor when it first happened a while back (prob start of summer), but he couldn't do anything cos I'd whacked on a load of moisturiser. He just said keep piling it on [rolleyes]
