Which VR are you asking about? Like in The Matrix, or VR head gear for gaming, or the old benchmark, or something else??? Be more specific! [rolleyes]

pkxlugbsbv 08-12-2006 07:03 AM

Isn't it reality we want to get away from in the first place?

Weren't the possible options I listed a clue to you as to what would be more specific?

Your guess correlates to the second thing I listed, and since you're guessing but don't know for certain, he must not have been specific enough for your either.

Why ask me, when you should be able to answer your own question? [rolleyes]

Well to get it into the home it's costly...

I have no idea how much VR has evolved though.

Lidawka 08-12-2006 08:38 AM

I remember everything about it except the controller. When I googled the picture, I was surprised that the controller had handles like that. Guess I must have just glanced at it once before I started playing. Don't ever remember using that right d-pad either...

afaik all the experiments they did with it ended up with the users feeling sick due to the small delays between moving your head and the updated images on the 'screen'... as hardware progresses we should start seeing/hearing about it more i guess.

People stopped caring about virtual reality when they realised that this reality is just "one conscience experiencing it's self subjectivly".

And that "there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves".

Concluding that this reality is infact as virtual as we need it to be http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo.../confused1.gif
