That Veronica Mars could get better then this!! [surrender] God tonight episode was funny as hell, incredibly smart, and lots of Kristen Bell hotness!!! I knew Logan would come up with something sneaky and smart but I did not expect the guards to counter that! Also, any bets yet on who's doing the rapes?

Also, ratings appeared to be up for the season premiere and I plan to keep an eye out and hope to god to see them continue to improve or at least stay the same. It seems that Gilmore Girls as a lead in is working at least somewhat on introducing more audience to V Mars. If you're STILL not watching it then you need to get with the program and watch what Joss Whedon, Kevin Smith, and Stephen King all call the best show ever! Remember, CW at 9pm!

"The CW premiere of "Veronica Mars" retained more of its "Gilmore Girls" lead-in among adults 18-34 (77%, 1.7/5) and adults 18-49 (70%, 1.4/3) than "Veronica" did a year ago following "America's Next Top Model" on UPN.
"With "Gilmore Girls" as its lead-in, "Veronica Mars" delivered its third highest-rated telecast ever among adults 18-34 (tie), its second best telecast ever in adults 18-49 (tie), and its fourth most watched episode ever (3.3 million) since its debut two years ago."

I'd have thought that Gilmore Girls would result in the death of everything around it. It's a pretentious snooze-fest and it's way past its very modest prime.

It is past its prime, but I think the writing is brilliant with that show! It's smart and funny, although I could see this being the last season for it, it's just really reached it's time to go. However, that might be why the audience is carrying over into Veronica Mars, maybe they can feel that Gilmore Girls is running out of steam and are looking for something new to jump into and Veronica Mars has really matured and change it's tone a little bit into a deeper and stronger show, it's grown up a fair amount since the start. Still totally crazy fun at times but also a much different tone, the new intro alone shows that.

It's smart and funny Gilmour Girls is neither smart, nor funny. It essentially tricks people into thinking they are watching a smart show by having the actors say stupid things, very quickly.

I turned off my TV last night and stared at the blank screen for an hour. I feel I learned more and was better entertained by doing this than had I tuned in to Veronica Mar or Gilmore Girls.

I sat and talked to my brother for several hours out on the porch and then we watched back to back Law and Orders.
I was pretty happy with my evening too.

Very cool! Do you like it? Just wait until the end of the first season and it'll be such a huge ending that you won't know what happened and then you'll want to race off to watch all of season two! I highly recommend doing this in this order anyway, if you get the DVDs you could be caught up to season three in like two weeks or so and really have a good understanding about the V Mars world.

Also, you people above are mean, Veronica needs everyone's love, EVERYONE!
