Hey dear, it’s little bit tough to say over the computer about the using method of curling iron but I try. Clamp your hairs at the end and then wrap it upside and then point the top of tip downwards. Wait for 20-30 seconds and then release. In this way you can curl your hairs.

@above you are right. I also curl my hairs in this way. And this is the right way for curling hairs. It also not creates any bends. But be very careful with the curling iron. Because if you are using iron more than 30 seconds than it can harm your hairs also.
