Default LOTR on Blu Ray... woot!
You heard right people, the LOTR trilogy is finally on Blu Ray! I went right to JBs to get my copy recently, and it's incredible! But unfortunately there's a little of a real possibility check:
  1. They are simply the cinematic versions, as it may not be made by the full extended editions until next year. Therefore die difficult followers will need to wait only a little longer for all those.
  2. The movie move quality, although being devilishly remarkable, isn't on BluRay the very best we've seen. It gets a good 4 out of 5 on many Blu Ray evaluation websites, and evaluating the 3 movies TFOTR is clearly below the 2 with regards to HD quality.
However, that said; it's remarkable to see in 1080p! The sound quality is magnificent, offered in 6.1 DTS-HD and it actually skaes the area, and regardless of the minor disadvantages of the video shift (that, to tell the truth, just die difficult video-philes may detect) it packs a significant strike in your HD film selection. Each movie includes a complete set of DVD unique functions, but once more, you'll have to wait before Extended Edition set arrives to actually make the most of all of the additional bits and pieces New Line is planning to provide with this specific trilogy. Well as for me, I'm down and will not be straight back for 20 minutes and 9 hours! [thumbup]
