Samsung produces $200,000 automatic spiders with 5.5mm machine guns to be properly used to protect the south/north japanese edge. Appears like ED-209 is yet another stage to becoming reality. http://www.newlaunches.com/archives/...costs_200k.php Remarks on that site, make fascinating reading also. Seemingly the software sentry may monitor targets out-to 500m, engage multiple targets during the night o-r in your day, and get excellent headshots. Won't simply take a long time before they provide some thing like that with severe firepower, like some 30mm chaingun, then people to the edge of other and korea risky locations better keep their heads down out-to a mile approximately. Year or two in to the potential and we'll have the same on some of those small container monitored such things as the "moute" in stargate, place it on a pre-determined path and it will do patrols. So I will keep the cats and kids off my front yard, be interesting if it dismissed paintballs but actual bullets could be good wish they to produce small version! [rofl] EDIT: According for this web site, http://www.computing.co.uk/vnunet/ne...s-robot-sentry The software sentry may monitor goals up to 2.5 miles in day-time and half that during the night and then with respect to the tool, I suppose, interact these targets...bloody nightmare!
