Horses like to eat sweets, fruits, or sweet cereals. Their favorite foods include watermelon, apples, strawberries, bananas, and mint. But because of their complex digestive system, horses must consume a certain amount of forage. Most like alfalfa hay the most. Still, like other animals, horses can be weird with food too, and they can eat their feces. You might ask yourself, "why Is my horse eating poop?" but there are reasons why they do this. Humans could never do this, but some animals don't mind it. They do this to help their digestion or when they're bored. This is more common with younger horses, but older ones shouldn't do it.
