My wife and I have never been to Bermuda, and I am unsure which resort would be the best fit for us. I have been looking at Rosewood, Fairmont Southampton, and the Reefs so far, but I'm definitely open to other suggestions. We would like an upscale hotel on the beach (I see several hotels have shuttles to the beach - is that just because the properties are so large or are the beaches far away from some of these hotels?) We definitely prefer nice resorts with all of the amenities. We work with kids, so a hotel that is a little more geared toward adult clientele is important to us for our getaway (kids are great, but for our last vacation, I picked a hotel where I think we were the only couple visiting without children). Spa and restaurants onsite are musts too. It would be great to be close to town and the airport, but it sounds like Bermuda is fairly small, so I'm not as concerned about this. Help, opinions, and past experiences would be helpful!
