Maybe Paul will inherit the anybody-but-Romney vote from Gingrich. And maybe he is peaking late enough to actually make a difference in the primaries. We'll see. But we are running out of flavors of the month. If Ron Paul doesn't hold on to it you've only got Santorum and Huntsman left, unless they decide to recycle Perry.

Doubt it. A lot of anybody-but-Romney vote seemed to be right leaning evangelical Christians, who aren't all that keen on libertarianism. |

All they have to do is show Ron Paul as a libertarian and that should be enough for most Americans to recoil. |

Indeed many Americans are afraid of freedom. But many are also waking to the establishment's bullshit narrative that a controlled, collective, totalitarian society is better than a free one. |

Paul victory in Iowa = even smoother sailing to a Romney victory. I approve |

Hello... I'm a lefty and I think Paul is great! I don't like most of his policies, but he is in favour of dumping lobbyists... this is America's only chance to not become more of a weird corporate owned government. If only he and Obama could agree on that and bring their parties on side, the US might stand a chance.

Was I not clear on how ridiculous of a notion this is? The USA is light years away from those types of totalitarian societies. With that said, Ron Paul vs. Romney would be interesting. A Randian vs. this guy: ![]() Actually, that's pretty good. |
