One of the few victories Europe had over the juggernaut in the screen entertainment business lately, it is just CLEARLY better.

I have to agree. Every now and then, the British manage to do something right and BBC's Sherlock is such an instance. It is far superior to the Hollywood abominations. As much as I like Robert Downey Jr, he's not cut out for Holmes.

Agreed - it's probably the best UK TV series for years. As far as being actual Sherlock Holmes stories the TV series beats the films hands down. I liked the first film, and saw the second in the cinema, but there wasn't really any detecting going on in the second, which is what SH is supposed to be about.

By the way, has anyone seen the US SH TV series "Elementary"?

Meh, the hollywood version of SH is a steampunk, on steroids with a lot of matrix slow mo fit into 2 hours. It is Sherlock Holmes'y, which is all it was ever supposed to be. Only saw the 1st, but am currently out of things to watch so I will give SH tv a try on netflix.

It is called just "Sherlock" right?

Everything with you is BBC BBC BBC BBC.There is a whole big world outside of your quaint little island,I implore you to go see some of it some time in the future.

Corrected.

Sherlock is a great show. It's made the Hollywood versions unwatchable for me. I only wish they had more episodes per season.

I would say that was a bite, but I'm open to discuss the issue. I would say any response addressing his post was a bite.

Actually Ive been there, never left the outskirts of Heathrow but technically I was on UK soil.TBH I was just trying to get Bungle to open his eyes. And yes Kink, when compared to the rest of the world it is "quaint". I think you can see all of the country in 3 days.

You obviously have no idea what quaint means. I could list about 20 countries you could also see in three days. Don't start an argument when you have no idea of the facts.

Now now, come back when you are not having your period.
