No but I knew there was no way in hell Asher had that much saved up.
80k isn't that far off.

Yes, I've 25K in an RRSP. 25k is the magic number for the RRSP home buyer's program, the rest are in moneymarket accounts as in the near future I'll be using it for a downpayment on a place.

Certainly if someone asked me how much I earn a year I'd quote my gross salary figure not what I got after tax.
I'd quote "mind your own business".

For businesses/investments earnings are net, but I think for individuals I'd consider your earnings to be your gross earnings.

Seems to suggest such here:

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/earnings

So I would have made the same assumption Alby did. Certainly if someone asked me how much I earn a year I'd quote my gross salary figure not what I got after tax.
By common convention, I agree...

I've spent more on gadgets in the past day than you spend on rent in an entire month. Know your role.
Please don't tell me that you bought an ipad.....

Where do you put all these gadgets, Asher? Do they clutter the place up or do you have a vast, expansive pad with ample storage space for everything? How do you manage all the power supplies and accessories and documentation etc? Or do you have as much fun organising all this stuff as actually playing with the toys.

The old gadgets get sold. Otherwise they just clutter up the house.

I've got a bunch of power bars in the den and bedroom to manage the power. It's not too difficult.

Yeah. He's got to take in more testosterone and semen will do the trick! Low calorie source of protein with some added testosterone. Perfect for his diet.

You're just tickled pink to be off the bottom of the accusations-of-homosexuality totem pole, aintcha?

For a moment, I reflected and thought I shouldn't join in; I should tell everyone it's not right to accuse someone of being gay when they're not but it also occurred to me that Drixnak has never specifically denied it nor expressed displeasure with it, whereas I have. Until he does, I will pile on.

If so, then yes, you made more over 7 years than I currently have saved up.

I'm currently at 80k saved up, myself. My SO has something like 35k so far (he's 3 years younger).
I hate you. But I'm happy that you paid for lunch now.

We will see.

~90% of my earnings are going directly into savings right now.
Still going to own you, son...

I could use a good tech guy to hook up my iPad, iPod, iMac, and iPhone to iTunes

Want to come work for me?
