I, personally, do not move planets. I just never could get into that whole scene. Before this discussion goes any further, I'd like to know precisely why you want to move Jupiter. Such an action might not be very good for our own planet.
Oh, I just need to get it close to the Sun so I can tear it apart and buld a matrioshka brain out of its innards.

And reduce Jupiter to the size of a 'very small particle'.

I'm pretty sure you need some sort of permit for that. Or an environmental impact statement at the very least. However, you could try that shrink ray from Despicable Me.
Regulations are reactionary so Lori will be fine. I pity whoever decides to move Saturn though.

Last time I checked, the second largest object on the solar system isn't exactly 'space'.

Oh yeah, WB Lori. Sorry I was slow. Anyway, the UN is one of the few deliberative bodies on Earth less significant than Poly, so I'd advise you to ignore them.

I don't think that would achieve much.

I'm a little rusty on my artificial planetary migration theories. In particular, I can't quite seem to remember how you move Jupiter's orbit so that it's close - like Mercury or closer - to the Sun in a relatively short timescale (months, years, decades). Can anyone give me a refresher? Thanks.
Large solar sails in orbit on the far side of Jupiter (wrt the sun) that redirect the solar wind into it.

also, the solar wind is different than solar radiation...

The giants from Majora's Mask? Covers both movement and the time travel.

Jupiter is too far away, setting up operations there would just take too long. Instead, travel to the sun and move it to Jupiter.

Since once impact from Shoemaker-Levy 9 released something like 600 times the energy of the world's nuclear arsenal and altered Jupiter's orbit by more or less exactly zilch, my guess would be no.

Nuke it a lot. Then nuke it some more.

Then nuke it again.

Silly KH, you'd need nuclear anti-matter to power it. I sometimes wonder where you learned your physics.
