The cut is top 60 and ties, or anybody within 10 shots of the lead. The world's #1 Luke Donald and defending champ Rory McIroy appear to be playing themselves above the estimated cut line.

Prtty sure Mike and Mike said the within 10 shots rule isn't in effect.

They said the field is somewhere around 900 over par and more than 500 over par on just 1-6.

Why don't the world #1 and #2 take any flack for absolutley sucking ass?

I know it's a Major, but I am surprised some guys don't pass on this tournament. They aren't used to these playing conditions and I'll bet it messes up their game for weeks afterward.
It has to be frustrating when you hit a ball just off the green 20-30 feet from the hole and need a search party to find your ball.

What's a few weeks of struggles when you're trying for immortality?

Imagine how far ahead Tiger might be if he was not "washed up".
I like that this course is as tough as it is. It is what the US Open is supposed to be all about.
