This.

Hey Stevie....you get 10% of the payday. Don't forget who gets the other 90%.
You think this is about money?

This is about more than that.

This kind of stuff makes golf interesting.

Not sure what to make of the Tiger defenders.

Leaving his "alleged steroid use aside;

If I told you that I travel to over 25 cities a year [I do]...,'

and I have a mistress in 10 or 12 of them...,

and I have young children at home...,

what would you think of me?

Maybe some of you would excuse that.

Then...,

I screw up royally after I get caught, I mean I just can't do anything right...,

then I act like a victim.

I suppose you would all line up to be one my side.

The term makes it sound like anybody, or primate, can haul the bag around. But evidently Williams is in pretty high demand for a reason.
He can rake a bunker like no one I've ever seen. I was at the US Open this year and dude must of spent about 5 minutes in a bunker raking that sand back and forth about a 1,000 times.

I don't think it is about money at all. I'm saying that he needs to shut up....Adam Scott is the one we should've been hearing from after the tourney, not Williams. He continues to come off sounding like a lover scorned. Get over it.

I probably wouldn't want to be your friend, but I wouldn't hesitate to hire you if you were applying for a job.

I'm not sure what your post has to do with Steve Williams, however. Or Steve Williams making himself into some sort of martyr.

That wasnt going to happen once Scott won.

And CBS pounced on that opportunity. They hade a cursory, at best, interview with Scott greenside and then went to Williams.

I would have to think that Eldrick canNOT be too happy with CBS for giving his ex cadd....er, bag ape the platform to say exactly what Williams wanted to.

Youre taking the term MUCH too literally.

I call him that because he was like Luca Brazzi in The Godfather for Eldrick. He is sort of this hulking, ape-like caddie that muscled the spectators when, Heaven forbid, someone snapped a picture at the wrong time.

Plus.. it just READS funny..

Williams may be a douche. I don't know much about the guy. I can see his point though. He stuck by tiger during this long break and then tiger cuts him right before he comes back. He could have been looking for a new gig long ago if tiger was going to do that anyways. In the end it worked out for him but tiger could have handled it better. And I like tiger.

Well, let's see.

Tiger and Scott are the final pairing in the PGA Championship?

Is that compelling television?

Or Maybe Scott and Joe Shlub?

Maybe Tiger and Tony Nobody?

Yeah, I think I saw he has a .900 Sand Rake percentage.

Oh, he's got a point. He just didn't need to make it at Scott's expense. Any other time or place, sure. I understand that you just answer the questions when the mics are put in your face, that's how it works, but he could have just said "you know, today is about Adam's victory, blah blah blah" and left it at that for the time being. This whole thing is very similar to those umps or refs who try to make themselves part of the game. Just do your job, and shut your pie hole.

Adam Scott has made more money in the four events with Williams than he has in all his others combined.

Plus the fact that nobody knows who Stevie Williams is unless he was Tiger's caddie for the last 10+ years. Maybe Tiger shit on him a little and could have handled it better. But he also made Williams a celebrity and a millionaire.

But was anybody sticking mikes in his face and begging him for interviews before he became Tiger's caddie?
The guy is practically the most marketable person in New Zealand today and it ain't because he caddied for Greg Norman.

Tiger is always a huge story. Is this the debate?
