In the last couple of rounds I played this year, I took the glove off for all putts and any wedge shot with less than a full swing. I'm not sure if it really helped, but the act of taking my glove off seemed to give me a confidence boost - it seemed to trigger a "taking care of business" mindset.

Always off if I'm inside about 75 yards. It feels weird having it on for putting. Sometimes it bugs me when other people wear it on the green. I don't know why and would never say anything, but I think it looks wrong.

When I was not so serious about my game, about 4 years ago, I would just unvelcro my glove for putting.

I leave my glove on all the time, even when putting. Don't notice a difference with it on or off, just a pain to keep taking it off and putting it on especially when it is warm out and it gets a little damp from sweat. I will take it off to refill my water bottle at the turn to avoid getting it wet and depending on how warm it is and how sweaty my palms have gotten that day I will often change gloves one or two times in a round. Could be psychological but a dry glove is always welcome halfway through a round.

On for everything except putting. I have tried with it off though, and didn't notice a difference.

I wear my glove for everything other than putting. I do take it off between shots though. In the summer, I take it off so it does not get wet with sweat in between shots...I think it is just a habit to take it off the rest of the time.

I used to take it off for wedge shots and putting. Now I don't really have a set plan. Sometimes off, but I'll putt with it on without any issues. I've never noticed much difference. In the summer I take it off when I can just so I can keep my hand cooler.

I usually take my glove off for chips and putts, but if I'm taking any larger swing than a chip I prefer to have the glove on. I sometimes putt with my glove on to save time -- if I'm playing through another group, or if I've already taken so many strokes on a hole that its just time to leave.

I have to take my glove off to write down my score. I'm a lefty playing right handed, and I can't hold a pencil with my glove on.

I use to take it off for putting. Pulling it off and on I think stretches the fingers and wastes allot of time. Now I leave mine on through out the round. Change my glove if it has become sweaty.
