FateHostera Join Date Oct 2005 Posts 564 Senior Member	Playing to a Number Most of the people I play with when it comes to par 4's and par 5's step up and hit and try to be as close to the hole as possible. However I have never really subscribed to this method and have always tried to play to a yardage number to be able to go with a certain club depending on the hole.
