Default Frustration :at-wits-end:
I am going to Branson this weekend to play some golf. I called up there today to make reservations at John Daly's Murder Rock Golf Course and they don't open till sometime in March. I called Branson Creek and got the same result. Why is it the two courses I want to play there are closed? All the other courses (that I have played) are open.

The John Daly course apparently needs some new fairways and grass after the man himself was seen grazing there. Apparently it took him 3 days, but he ate all 18 holes. However it was not his fault, he blames a local children's charity is now filing a suit against them. It appears they made him hungry so he is blaming them for the destruction.

I figured it would have something to do with trying to remove all the vodka and whiskey bottles from the course.

Sorry to hear that. A lot of the businesses in Branson cater to the seasonal crowds and don't open, or even bring their summer help in until fairly late. A lot of years Branson still has snow on the ground into late Feb/ early March.

What bugs me about it is that on their website they have rates for playing December-February. Why? If your not going to open the course why have rates?
