1 month later and my handicap is 13.9 today. Working hard and slowly chipping away at it. Still taking lessons 2-3 times a month and have moved back to the senior tees.

When I began lessons a few months ago, I established a handicap goal of 15 which was an improvement of 7 strokes. I'm excited to announce that I officially reached that goal today (15.4 GHIN).

I am starting back taking lessons this week at least once per month. I am going to ask my coach what he thinks my next handicap goal should be. I want to be realistic. It may even go up during the winter but I plan to work hard to lower it even more. I'm going to really start focusing on my short game now.

Do you have a handicap goal? It seems to really help me to have a goal.

Congrats KB on the constantly improving game! My goal is single-digits by August next year. Am hoping to be able to take a few months off next summer between projects to dedicate to golf so that should help.

Congrats KB, well done! My handicap is currently 19 due to poor short game and putting right now, my goal is trying to get that down to about 12 during the winter period, and the long term goal is to be in single figures this time next year.
All the best with the golf in the future!!!

I think I am about to be passed ..... Mine is 13.4 and the old Gal is putting the move on me. I feel like Dale Earnhardt Sr. is on my bumper ..

Great job KellyBo and I am so proud of ya! My goal is to be a single digit one day in the near future. I have been there before and with some dedication will be back there again ).

Congrats there Kellybo!!!
You and I could play heads up (and you would beat the crap out of me). Just wait till you start playing the golds with grey... that number is going to plummet!

Yeah RxGus - it helps that the gold is rated higher for women than men so his handicap may go up while mine goes down.

Congrats there Kellybo!!!

Congrats KB!
I had a goal this year of getting my hdcp down to a 5.
With a tip from amollerud and a new driver(TM Super-Tri), I not only reached that goal a few weeks ago to 4.9, but this last week when the ghin came out, I'm down to 3.0.
Over the years of playing golf, I have found that my hdcp drops a bit and then plateaus for a while and then finally something new clicks in and it drops a bit more.
The drops are ususally a year or 2 apart, but this year, actually the last couple of months has been crazy.

Keep up the great work!

Great job KB. A little hard work with lots of talent, you'll keep it coming down.
