Default What Articles Would You Like to Read?
JB's recent poll about articles got me thinking. My bag is set for the moment, and most of what gets reviewed is irrelevant for me.

So--what would I like to read about? What would you like to read about?

There's a reasonably active thread about favorite grips. But--what should you look for in a grip? What general types of grips are there, and for what sort of golfer might they be most appropriate?

As a separate piece, how do you go about changing your grips and would you want to? (Maybe Harry's tschotchkes could even demonstrate.)

Anyone else?

I'd like to see a GPS shootout. Including blackberry apps.

Me too, but it will never happen. Because most use the same satellites and the only difference are features and ease of use. We were planning on doing this very thing. Every company was on board except Skycaddie and Golflogix. Both used the same response "we do not like to see our products compared to others in articles".

As for phone apps. We have tried almost all of them, and until we find one that has decent accuracy, we are going to stay away.

I'd like to see something that works well on my blackberry but I'm not holding out much hope.

Me too CM. I would too.

On topic, this is a great thread Claire.

Edit: Keep in mind, fall lines are starting to get released for the ladies companies. So more ladies apparel coming soon.

I would be happy to write a grip-changing article if we want one hosted locally, but the truth is that there are a brazillion of them out there that do a good job.

There really are and it becomes personal preference. I will contact one or two manufacturers and see about profiling their entire line possibly and that way people get a feel for all the different grips a company puts out.
