bro, may Allah make it easy, and full of khayr, and full of benefit. Be sure to use your time wisely when out.. first shaytan tries his best to stop us from going out, and then when we do go out, he tries his best to make us waste our time. Please make du'a for me too, and we would love to hear any karguzaris, if not during the khuruj, then after.

planning to leave in Jamat in a few days time if all goes well, was moving to a new job / co. and thought I may never get the time again, so have put that on hold for now, anyways its good if you learn the work while you're still young (and before getting married), don't you think??

please pray that I get an aafiyat filled:
a) jamat
b) ameer
c) saathis
d) may Allah SWT take a lot of work of deen for me and while he does that, may he make it easy for me.

Aameen. Summa Aameen.

it may sound clichéd but the death of a close family acquaintance early last year quite shook me up, 'coz a couple of months before that he had told us personally about his plans to start his life anew after working for years in foreign lands and had one fine day, left this world, just like that leaving behind millions of $$ in bank balance (literally) and two cute little kids, and was still in his 40s while that in itself isn't the only reason, I had actually been to an Ijtema last week and felt really guilty of myself - anyways, that karguzari is for a different day.

not new to tabligh and jamats, but still would like to read if you've any suggestions for me.

I'll make duas to all of the aapa's and bhaijaan's of Sf and the whole Ummah too.

I may just login once a week on Sf from my phone and give any karguzari on this same thread if possible, I'm not sure though.

the reason why I've put 120 days and not 4 months is so that new guys know 4 months actually isn't a big deal, I dislike it when my brain begins to think 4 months is a big deal, it is definitely not...have given almost 17-18 years for worldly studies, what is then 4 months in the path of Allah SWT?

I hate it when people make it a big deal when they "what?!!
4 MONTHS IN JAMAT ?!!!
Make dua for me please that I been able to spend some times with my husband , Insya Allah. And don' forget to do lots of khidmat, although it's not on your khidmat day, Lots of ikram and khidmat will make lots of difference.

If it is your first time i assume you going to indo/pak area? Heat is going to kick in brother but you should get sent to a cool place.
Download loads of bayerns and put them on a .mp3 player and definitely take Hayatus Sahabah if you going abroad since you will be closer these exemplary personalities reading that will just bring you closer to them for real.
STAY OFF THE FOOD..seriously man, food is the supplier of the naffs. If you control your eating there you could come back disciplined. By the grace of Allah supporting a brother and bought him down from 18 stone to 13 in just over 50 days. You will crave it [nothing wrong with that] since it is the only luxury you will have, more the need to kill it.
See if you can regularly have fadhail sadaqaat fixed for 20 - 30 minutes, that kitaab is one of the most productive books on the planet.
Give up on the text book spill of the 6 points and coin your own version. If you are passionate about what you say that will be projected onto the listeners.
Lead by example. If you are passionate and productive then that will reflect on the Jamaat, even if they are disruptive you can transform that around. That is not to say you should be strict, Sheikh Saad says 'Usool khud zaat ki liyer, dus ra ki liyer dorkas her' or something like that [principals and guidelines are for ourself, for others we encourage] .

Anything else pops to mind will give you a shout.

Brother Pluto,

I have no suggestions for you, so i'll keep this brief

May Allah accept this commitment and strengthen your emaan.
May Allah allow your actions to be a means of educating & motivating brothers & sisters to further the call of Islam.
May Allah surround you with pious saathis & accept your intentions & make things easy for you.
May Allah keep you smiling...

One small request brother; make a small prayer for me so that I can become a better Muslim, and that I am able to worship my Creator in the way He loves most….

I will definitely miss your posts on here; whilst you are away…You will be in my duas.

where are you going exactly?

it would be good if you can make some kind of diary explaining each day (or weekly) if its not too much trouble so that the people who don't know much about TJ can get a better insight

My dad used to do that. He always had a notebook with him, where he used to write down things that happened, also quotes he heard from Ml In'aamul Hasan who was his shaykh, and also other 'ulama. This was an easy way to do karguzari when he came back.

Ive never been b4, but was just thinking yesterday that ive gotta go some time!!! I think you should make a loooong thread with 120 posts; each post being a karguzari of your day.

And btw about what bro gabriel said:

Give up on the text book spill of the 6 points and coin your own version. If you are passionate about what you say that will be projected onto the listeners.

I wish ppl said that more!

May ALLAH accept your time & make it a mean for jannah. There are many usools (rules) but would like to quote four. 1.Consider every muslims as a owner of Jannah 2. Respect ulema & Imaam of every masjid always sit with them irrespective of which thoughts he belongs 3. Never discuss about different sects of muslims in jamah 4.Every night before Sleep say Oh ALLAH whoever & however afflict me, I Forgive You (ALLAH) too forgive them..

This seems 4 but has numerous benefits in it. Remember this Sinner if your dua..

I hope ya spend your time in such a way in which you get the most benefit, Amin. Using the phone and other devices not out of necessity are a distraction for many. If you wanna play it safe, take karguzaris down and let people know after you've spent your time.

Oh yeah, stick to the usool with your teeth when on khurooj. It'll take you a long way in this kinda business.

Du'as man.

Bhaijaan,
First of all u should thank Allah for the irada u have done to go in khurooj. There are so many muslims brothers in ur area, who may be more intelligent, wealthy, pious, but Allah Ta'ala have selected u amongst them for going in his path.
There are basic usool prerequisite of our elders b4 going in khurooj:-
Submitting wasooli (advance). Like when we sit in a cab/taxi the meter gets started. Inshallah by submitting vasooli, the meter of neki will be started. It has a good effect against the nafs and shaitan.
Giving sadaqa
Informing and giving dawah to everyone that I am going in jamate. Listening to this, other people and friends may also join u.
Making Dua. Without the taufiq of Allah Ta'ala we cannot do anything therefore we should pray to Allah Ta'ala, to help us against the haalaat, rukawat and other unexpected obstacles.
Its being said that "Allah Ta'ala jis bande ko 70 martaba mohabbat bhari nigahon se dekhte hain, use apne raste mein nikaalte hain".

Allah Ta'ala may test with little halaat before going and after coming from khurooj. When we buy clay pot(matka) we knock it, to check whether it is ok, since we are paying for it. Similarly Allah Ta'ala will be testing us as he has bought the life & wealth of imaanwala against the jannat.

I am sure u r going in "paydal" jamate. It has lot of fazial. "Allah Ta'ala jamate ke kadmo mein aanewale fitno ko dabaa dete hain". It doesn't mean ur entire journey will be walking but when u shift from one masjid to other you'll can walk and go.

It was easier for us to go for 4month bcoz I had just finished my grad'n (BE) but for u it isn't easy.

It is advised not to carry cellphone and one should avoid making phonecalls. Rather one should write/receive letters to/from our family members with dawate mentioned in it. Atleast I did'nt made a phone call during my khurooj.

Please share with us, the "rukh" of ur jamate.

It is advisable to go in jamate from own locality which helps in managing "maqami-panch-kaam" after returning from khurooj.

Think about lashkar of Osama-bin-zaid radiallahua in which he was made Amir of that jamate which consisted of senior Sahaba's. Therefore whoever is our Amir we will obey/respect him.
Maulana Saad Sahab says " waqt ke Amir ki baat maanna farz hain".

As far as companion in the jamate is concerned, Maulana Umer Palanpuri used to say " jamate is like dhobi-ghat, just like in dhobi-ghat a washerman have to tackle all type of clothes, similarly in jamate we will have to manage all kind of people ".

Few vital things to be done in khurooj:-
Amir ki tabedari - surrender yourself to the "mansha" of Amir. This is the most important thing to be done. Its ellaboratio will run in pages.
Masjid ki char diwari - Try to stay in the premises of masjid. One should avoid going out except going for takaza of dawate or unavoidable necessasity. Use khidmat saathi for bringing essential.
Raato ki Ahozari - the prayer of tahajjud and dua.
Khidmat - it is said " ibadat se jannate aur khidmat se khuda".
Attending ishtimayi amal especially the taalim minimum 4hrs.

We can learn Salah, Quran, Saum etc at home but it is difficult to make up Imaan at home. Therefore we go in khurooj to make our Imaan stronger. By giving dawate our imaan will become stronger therefore try to give more and more dawate by doing tashkeel. in jamate shaytan attacks with noorani weapon by engaging us in Ibadat and diverting from dawate. Infact we should spend maxm time in dawate. Try to make naqad jamate daily. Once during our chila jamate, the members were all new but they were so engrossed in dawate that they use to do naqad tashkil of 3days jamate on daily basis from the masjid they stayed in. As a result 40 jamate of 3 days had gone during their chila

Last point, Maulana Saad sahab is very unhappy with the kind of talks/bayan our brothers are giving. Our talks should be very simple in the hudood of 6numbers mainly on the topic of Imaan.
