I would like to apologise unreservedly to both brothers. I hope they can forgive me.

I still do not agree with them at all on the academics, however, that does not justify the tone I used against both brothers. I would also like to clarify that my intention was never to degrade them, since I do not have anything personal against them or anyone else, however, my tone made it seem that way which is unacceptable and I unreservedly apologise for that.

I do make a firm intention that in future I will try my utmost to ensure the comments are of an appropriate tone.

May Allah guide us all to know the truth. Our intentions are not to sow discord and disunity in the Ummah, rather to increase tolerance for all sunni groups. Differences of opinions existed historically and I like what Allamah Mufti Taqi Uthmani said about this issue: "even if theoretical debates and arguments have not ceased to run between them for many centuries. Occasionally browbeating, exaggeration and excess occurred in them from the various sides and occasionally one of them steered in the direction of trespassing the limits of moderation, but the truth is that the basis of the dispute is nothing but an ijtihadi (judgemental) dispute, akin to the differences of the fuqaha (jurists) in juristic matters which are open to interpretation (mujtahad fiha)."



The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.



And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.

The Prophet is reported to have said: "Shall I not tell you of something that is better than fasting, prayer and charity?"
They said: Yes. He said: "Reconciling between two people..."

The Prophet also said: Believer is a mirror for his brother

«ألا أدلكم على أفضل من درجة الصلاة و الصيام و الصدقة؟ قالوا: بلى يا رسول الله. قال: إصلاح ذات البين فإن فساد ذات البين هي الحالقة»

حدثنا أصبغ قال : أخبرني ابن وهب قال : أخبرني خالد بن حميد عن خالد بن يزيد ، عن سليمان بن راشد ، عن عبد الله بن أبي رافع ، عن أبي هريرة قال : : ( المؤمن مرآة أخيه ، إذا رأى فيه عيباً أصلحه .).

حدثنا إبراهيم بن حمزة قال : حدثنا ابن أبي حازم عن كثير بن يزيد ، عن الوليد بن رباح ، عن أبي هريرة ، : ( عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : المؤمن مرآة أخيه ، والمؤمن أخو المؤمن ، يكف عليه ضيعته ، ويحوطه من ورائه .).

حدثنا أحمد بن عاصم قال : حدثني حيوة قال : حدثنا بقية عن ابن ثوبان ، عن أبيه ، عن مكحول ، عن وقاص بن ربيعة ، عن المستورد ، : ( عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : من أكل بمسلم أكلة ، فإن الله يطعمه مثلها من جهنم ، ومن كسي برجل مسلم ، فإن الله عز وجل يكسوه من جهنم ، ومن قام برجل مسلم مقام رياء وسمعة ، فإن الله يقوم به مقام رياء وسمعة يوم القيامة .).
