I do not see why this version should be perceived as a threat, are we in competition? So what if the salafi bring out a version of their own with just fazail in them, this in fact should be encouraged for them to read and proceed if the objective of love of Amaal is increased. Sheikh Zakariyah [may Allah enlighten his grave] does not have a patent or copyright to the material or the methodology. I think if the material is not erroneous then a very positive and praiseworthy act especially if told in the Masajid's to read this. ![]() I don't think it's threatening, I just find it dishonest, especially if it isn't actually the same book, since they are advertising it as being the well known book. |

![]() I feel bad saying this... but it seems that, at the root of it.. the problem does not really lie with Fazail e Amal.. but with ' Ta'assub ' and ' Hasad ' towards its respected author.. and not even to his person.. but to his mad'hab.. how can a Hanafi gain such worldwide fame.. writing a book thats read across continents.. in different languages.. published without copy rights.. and that changed so many house holds.. i was really shocked few months back while invited at my aunts place ( a hardcore salafi).. i learnt that a prominent salafi shaikh who appeared on a certain Tv channel was also a invited there.. my grandfather introduced me to the shaikh who seemed to be in his late forties.. said that im into tableegh and have such close relations with such and such Alim who was a Shaikhul Hadees at madrassa Saulatiya , Makkah mu'azzamah for 8 yrs and he has done a massive effort amongst the murtadeen of Northern Karnataka State, India.. seriously i was stunned to listen what he said next.. said if he is a Hanafi then he can never be on deen and follow the sunnah.. i wondered what a feeble mind this guy could ever have .. he never saw him.. never heared from him.. or about him earlier.. and just because he is a hanafi he is a be'deen..nauzu billah.. i was seething inside.. felt like banging his head rt against the wall.. coz the Maulana he called be'deen.. has sacrificed a lot .. runs a madrassa.. reaches out to people in distant remote villages .. gets their children admitted to his madrassa.. mostly free.. when they turn out as huffaz ..sends them back to their villages.. builds masajids there.. keeps sending jamaats and Alhamdulillah a spring of deen flourishes over a period of time.. all this i have seen with my own eyes having travelled with him.. well i tried my best to remain calm.. but he kept on provoking.. saying we are not aware of history and stuff.. so i told him that Islam flourished in india mainly through the efforts of Hanafi ulema.. ( ofcourse by Allah's will) and where were u guys then.. u sprung up only 50 yrs back to spread fitnah.. the argument went on for sometime .. but as always .. u cant reason with a Mad-Khali.. and a few months later he was deported to wherever he crawled out from.. so even if u write Fazail e amal in 10 volumes.. on commentary sanad by sanad .. theyll never accept.. coz a hanafi wrote it after all.. May Allah ![]() duas.. wa assalam.. |

Sheikhul Hadith [may Allah enlighten his grave] is currently laughing all the way to the bank [Jannah]. You know he is buried in the same vicinity of Ahle Bait in Jannatul Baki? I mean seriously how do you get to be buried there? This favouritism is only from Allah. So when I hear these talks I do not get frustrated any more in fact I laugh in the back of my mind knowing that it is just all just talk from most people and I challenge them to just give 0.000000001% of what he has sacrificed. |

![]() May Allah SWT , may we all be lucky enough to get buried over there ![]() Speaking of Hadrath Shaykh Maulana Khaleel Ahmed Saharanpuri ra, I remember when I was in Saharanpur in jama't, I spoke to a very very elderly gentleman who said that Hadrath Khaleel Saheb ra was IMMENSELY GOOD LOOKING/ full of Noor. I'd love to go in jama't again, those were some of the best days of my life. Best-est ![]() |
