Default Artificial Sweeteners
Why can't we have aspartame but we can have truvia? Anyone know?

Some people will likely disagree with me, but I just think that the only no calorie alternatives in the 1950's were saccharine and stevia. I think that aspartame and whatever Splenda is would probably have been included if they existed.

Some people say that Splenda converts to sugar after being ingested, but I don't know where they are coming up with scientific backing for that.
Some people say that having other artificial sweeteners causes them to stall. That is to be judged by the individual.
I personally have been taking in a few packets of Splenda per day, and have had a diet soda or 2 and haven't had any ill effects.
