It's great, isn't it?
Fatty food doesn't actually raise your blood pressure. I've been reading the book, and although I had a fairly good understanding about how the whole process worked through my uni studies, you just have to think of it that starches and sugars make your blood "thicker". Just like milk thickens if you add cornflour to it. That makes it harder to pump, so your heart has to work harder. Think of it as your heart having a well deserved vacation, because you're not making sauce out of your blood! Well done Bella ![]() |
