Default Depressed and Frustrated!!! Need support please!!
Hi,

I am so frustrated with my body! I am following this protocol to the T and the scale just doesn't want to move! Okay...I started on April 6th weighing 191.5 then loaded and gained 4 pounds making me 195.5. Today I weigh 184. That is only 7 pounds (not counting loading day weight gain) in 12 days. Other people are losing so much more and it is frustrated to me. I don't want to quit but I feel that this is such a severe diet that I should be losing much more than I am. My stomach growls all day long and I am miserable. Has anyone else gone thorough this?

What type of HCG are you taking? You shouldn't be hungry and having a growling stomach all day. I do not even feel hungry on my skip days.

Hi,

I am taking hhcg from a good source. I can deal with the hunger I just hate that the scale doesn't move.

Losing .58 # a day is pretty normal for this diet, especially if you are a woman so I would say you are doing great!

I took Anumed as well. You should not feel hunger though.

Average loss per day for women is about .5 lbs, so it seems you're doing fine. How quickly were you expecting to lose? If you're hungry, I do think you need to adjust your dose. Normally it needs to be lowered to avoid hunger.

Actually, I started at 5 drops 4x/day and had to go up to 3 drops 8x/day, and then back down to 5 drops 4x/day 10 days before the end. It does take 48 hours for the levels to adjust so you need to give it time and not readjust too soon.

ljm,
Your stomach should NOT be growling all day long...you should attempt to adjust your dose to get that corrected. If you think about it, if the hCG is working properly and releasing the abnormally stored fat, you should not experience hunger. If you ARE experiencing hunger ALL THE TIME, you could be sabotaging your efforts, because your body will go into starvation mode and start to hoard fat instead of releasing it. Gotta get your dose right! Even though you say you are OK with feeling hungry, it's not a good thing to allow. And just a couple other observations...you need to count your loading weight in your losses, because you LOST it, so it is part of your total losses. And all things considered, your losses are spot on.
Keep the faith, don't give up but DO get your hunger issues fixed! Best of luck!

If your stomach is growling, try spacing out the food. I noticed a huge cup of water and my breadstick was the winner for the mornings. I have to eat otherwise I'm miserable. I am also hypoglycemic.
I did notice when I eat everything together I am fuller but then I get hungrier sooner. I am going to try to keep a constant flow of food going in every couple hours, even though we don't have much to work with.

Thanks everyone! Actually I got through the day without that much hunger. I must have been really hungry this morning though...lol. I get really cranky when Im hungry and I can't eat!! Anyway, I am not feeling the hunger as I type this. I am taking the advice and spreading my food out. I decided to skip my 2nd fruit and have a little more protein or veggies. A cucumber really does the trick. I am so thankful for this forum. I really appreciate those who respond to my venting.

I really want what you guys have and with your support I will reach my goal!

Hi,

I started on the 8th and I've lost 7 lbs and holding too. When I did this diet last year I averaged 5 lbs a week, which is way more than any other diet I've been on.
Are you drinking the 8 glasses of water daily (at least 6) because that will make a difference the first couple of weeks.
I'm taking 10 drops 3x/day and I don't feel hungry, I just want to eat stuff I can't.
Hang in there. This is the place to come for support.

Yes. I have been through this too.

Generally, you should expect to loose about 0.4 to 0.5 kg / day. If you were at a particular weight level for a long time when you were gaining weight your weight loss during the diet will get stuck at this weight for a few days after which you will continue to loose weight again.

This is a very strict diet, too strict for me. So I have been experimenting. I have found I can mix the vegetables and fruits in the one meal and still have normal weight loss. I eat curries a lot due to the flavour. Aim for as much variety in the foods as is possible of the diet and learn to use herbs to the max to maintain flavours. It really helps me stay on the diet if I have one 'bad' meal a week. For example, I find Friday nights really hard as I am tired from working all week. I have found a local chinese takeaway store that does chow mein that is not too naughty but very tasty. The following morning's weight may show no weight loss for that 'naughty' day, but I see this as therapeutic as it allows me stay on the diet. If I am finding the diet hard during the week, I look forward to Friday night.

Hope this helps
