An Illustrated History Of Heart Disease (1825-2015)
I wanted to share something pretty extraordinary with you today that I received via e-mail from my fellow low-carb nutritional health advocate Alan Watson, author of the books Cereal Killer and 21 Days to a Healthy Heart (listen to my podcast with him in Episode 239 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show”). Alan has granted me special permission to reproduce this for you on my blog. If you’ve never been exposed to the REAL story about the history of heart disease and how it has gotten worse since we moved away from our low-carb roots, then this will be an invaluable resource for you to share with those who wonder why you eat the way you do. ENJOY! http://livinlavidalowcarb.com/blog/a...w+Carb+Blog%29 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I knew most of this but have never seen it presented like this - it's a very powerful timeline of how to 'create a disease'.
And timely for us, Warwick's father (from whom he was estranged) died of a massive heart attack on Sunday night. This despite a quadruple bypass 20 or so years ago, giving up smoling, starving himself on doctor's recommendations and being rail thin. He did drink a lot of alcohol though - a lot of the casue of the parting was his vile behaviour when drinking. He was in his 80s but the last 20 years were hell due to the traditional medical restrictions on high fat and cholesterol. |

This was all very compelling Arlene and thank you for posting it all.
So gald forums like this exist today for those of us who choose to be "healthy" and not listen to the guidelines set down by the governoment etc. for what is healthy. Very sorry to hear about Warwick's father and the estrangement for over 20 years. Very sad and also a not so uncommon story unfortunately. Please give Warwick my condolences. Glad to have you back. |
