Is there any preference for one over the other when mixing rx hcg for sublingual use ?
I used BW for R1 but recently read a little about folks who prefer serile saline. Any thoughts ?

Dr. Belluscio uses saline and it's so easy to get from the drugstore that we usually recommend it. But if you have bac water on hand, that's fine too.

I would absolutely recommend the saline. In my case anyway, it completely absorbs and although I was doing great with other mixes, this was superior.

ahhhh ... thank you, friends ! I will run to cvs and get it. They have it in several sizes with wound and eye care . In fact, I'm going to go and get it in a few minutes. Anyone need anything ?

Well, Dr. Belluscio uses the sterile saline in his stuff and recommends it so that's what many on the forum have done for over a year now. It doesn't have a preservative but that seems to be okay. Wound wash is what most get.

So is wound wash a liquid in a bottle? Like a bottle of saline is? Guess I need to look it up. I know my bac water has been in the fridge long enough by the time I do my next round I'll have to toss it and use something else or buy another.

It's actually in a spray bottle so you spray it into a bowel then suck it up in your mixing syringe. But remember, it's not for shots.

Thanks Colleen, I don't do shots so it will ok. What about just the bottle of saline like in the contact section. Would those work or is there other stuff added to them? I know they stay good because they don't expire for a year or so. Have some in the bathroom I should go see what's in them too. Seems easier then spraying it out and sucking it up.

I'd thought about suggesting that at times. It's sterile saline too and at least it's in a bottle and not a spray.

I think that is what I'll get. To me that's more sterile then spraying it into another container then drawing it out and well it's just easier. Thanks

Did you have success with the contact lens solution? I saw some recently - it says 'sterile saline' but the ingredients list extra things other than sodium chloride. Is this the right stuff? I'm from the UK and can't find any plain saline solution /wound wash.

I have read so many threads on this topic and am still unsure...Is any type of Contact Lens Saline OK for sublingual mixing or does it have some diabolical poison in it? Cannot get bacteriostatic water here. I wonder if there is a specific ingredient to avoid. My impression is that I need water with some kind of preservative but the preservative cannot be alcohol. Any thoughts? Thank you!
