Default Stevia in the Raw... SO PISSED!!!
I've been using this the whole time... multiple times a day!!! WTH?! I had no idea there was a difference in stevia, but apparently this one we're not supposed to have. Has anyone else used this stuff and had a problem? Could this be the reason that I have not been losing like I should?!

I use sweet and low too. Sweet and Low does not mess with your insulin like the other artificial sweetners do.

stevia in the raw has dextrose. actually, a lot of stevia in packages has maltodextrin or dextrose which we are not supposed to have. I found one package stevia that does not have anything else added- it is called sweetleaf stevia and that is good in hot beverages but has trouble dissolving in cold beverages (the dextrose probably helps with that). An alternative is the alcohol-free liquid stevia from nu-naturals that dissolves well in anything.

Sweetleaf is the only one that is powder that has nothing else in it. It does cost a little more though. Also like said above you can find the liquid ones at health food stores.

I am so glad to have read this...I was using the same, just enjoying a cup of tea as I write. Bummer. I'm on VLCD 12, have lost 8.5#, have followed protocol to the letter, or so I thought. This forum is sooooo helpful. Thanks!
