Default SO, what if Smooth Move and Miralax are not working for me???
It's been a long time now since I've "moved" (sorry, TMI!) . I have been drinking smooth move tea and taking miralax for 3 days now with NO success. Anyone have any suggestions for me? I am drinking lots of water and eating all my fruit and veggie allowance. Pretty willing to try anything at this point!

Physical activity level?

I find going for a walk helps with that peristaltic movement, which gets things motoring.

Pretty active. I have a 6mo old and a two year old, so I'm pretty much constantly chasing someone. Pushing the boys around in the stroller too.

When i start having a problem, i take Magnesium Citrate. It is sold in most drug stores...i buy it in my local Walmart (in the health and beauty dept.). It comes in a clear glass 10 oz. bottle. Works for me every time. ; )

Taking Vitamin C in larger doses will also work like Magnesium. You can also try adding some flax to your diet. A health food store will have some you can buy and sprinkle on your food. It shouldn't interfere with any losses on the hcg program. Also you can purchase some colon cleanses that will help you eliminate. These are very helpful to take ocassionally anyways. I usually do this at least once a year. Adding some Acidophillus will also be good. This is the beneficial bacteria in your intestinal tract and when it gets out of balance it can cause problems like constipation. Illness and taking antibiotics can throw off this balance.

I hope this helps. Good luck!
