hello, i'm a 16 year old boy from the Netherlands. I'm 1.84m tall and my weight is around 55 kilo's.
I'm new here and I registered because I've got a little problem; I'm definately not fat but under my nipples I have some fat. It is a problem for me, I can't be myself with those fatty nipples. I searched the internet for answers and help and I found some sites saying that if your a teenager they will leave within two years. Is it true? Or should I follow a diet (wich is not a problem for me; if someone could tell me what do eat/do). please help me. healthypiet |

well thanks for joining, as for being a teenager, with a little excess fat, is not a big deal, as your grow older you will lose some of it, but as a rule, cut down on few things, eat more veggies, less french fries, and a little more active, remember your in the growing yrs and what you do now will effect you for most of your life.
Also a little less ice cream, will help. staying active is the best plan of all. and it doesnt matter what age your at. Most diets should and do have adverse effects, as you need both minerals, vitamins, and some fat content in a daily diet. as most ppl diet they tend to stay away from such items and actually do more harm then good. A good healthy breakfast helps, a salad with some chicken perhaps for lunch, and a healthy supper, goes a long way, |

First pause at 10: an (small) apple. Second pause at 1: two slices of bread with peanut butter. At 4 when I usually come home: a cup of green thea. Diner at 6: potatoes, veggies, meat. always different. At 8 pm: nothing / apple or some other fruit. I don't drink anything else then watter and one cup of green thea. So My problem I think is not in the healthy part. But maybe I'm wrong. I'm not saying your advise is wrong but I just want to tell that I'm not a fat and unhealthy person. |

ok, thank you for advise and reactions. I already did sit ups 3 days a week, each day four times 15 sit ups so 180 a week. But I'm going to do some push ups to, thx.
But on the internet they said the 'man boobs' will leave in two years if you're a teenager, and I have to make sure that is true.. You know anything about that? |

depending on how much exercise you do, the man boob's do disappear, but doing push ups and exercises for that area of the body will give you a bulker chest. check out exercises that bulk up the chest , and in a month you will see a difference, remember looking everyday at them , you wont see a difference. but in a week or more, a difference will be more noticeable. good luck and repost back with how your progressing.
sit up's help the ab's, which is also good, but just doing exercies for one area of the body, is not adviseable, especially at your age, a little on all area's is best, also you may want to add a little more to the diet as you do more exercise. |

I think there is still hope to your concern healthypiet. Some causes of your condition are genetic disorders, obesity (which is not the case for you), steroid use, side effects from medications or illegal drugs and hormonal imbalances. Normally it does happen during puberty because of hormonal changes and it is normally reversed in about 90% of teenage boys who have this problem. There are ways to treat Gynaecomastie as others have done it. I read that it involves making special changes to your diet and performing special exercises that all combine to melt it right off your chest. The other option is breast reduction if your doctor recommends it as a last resort. Check with your doctor and see if they can suggest other options you can do to treat your body problem. I hope this helps.
