When to start round two??? Please help!!!

I got a question for all of you: I'm on 40 day HCG program and read in Dr. Simeons' "Pounds and Inches" that there must be a 6 week HCG-free break (3 weeks no sugar & starch + 3 more weeks with sugar/starch being little by little introduced into the diet) between round 1 and round 2. However, the doctor who prescribed me HCG shots, told me that I only have to wait 3 HCG-free weeks (no sugar and no starch) between round 1 and round 2. I'm absolutely confused. Will there be consequences if I start round 2 after only 3 weeks (no sugar & starch) or is it just fine? What were your experiences with that, if you have actually any?

Unless the doctor is saying that you have to wait 3 weeks, and no more, between your rounds, then I would stick with Simeons' protocol, which speaks to what both doctors are telling you (creepily one is doing it from beyond the grave).

If you heed your doctor, then you're going against the founder of the program's advice, which might haunt you.

I am of the mindset that your body needs time to get a handle on all the weird things you've done to it, so 6 weeks is not that long to wait, especially when you consider that half that time was still part of the diet (stabilization phase) and not you getting back to life.

This is also a snapshot of what life will be like post-hCG (when you've finished your last round), so it's nice to see what that will be like as well.

Just my 2.2 cents.
