I lost to a low of 189 on 6 weeks of Phase 2, from 216, but on my last injection day I was 191.
For the last 10 days of Phase 2, I began getting very hungry, and admit that I ate extra crackers on many occasions, once eating a whole box of wasa crackers in one day. I thought maybe that it was that the HCG was not effective any more, but even now, 2 weeks into Phase 3, I cannot control how hungry I am. I have never been this hungry in my life. The good news is, despite eating an excess of calories almost every day, I am up only 4 lbs. I have read numerous reports that many people cannot increase their calories to what they need to be on phase 3, whereas I cannot stop eating. Here is a typical day of food. I have done well avoiding starches and sugars, but am eating a ton of fat and protein. Upon waking at 5:30: handful of nuts, or piece of cocoa crack or scoop or two of whey in water For breakfast at 8ish, after walking dog for 30 minutes: 4 jumbo eggs with liberal amount of shredded cheese Snacks during morning from 9-12: 3-4 tbsp of natural almond or peanut butter, or nuts, or protein powder mixed with a little half and half Lunch: chicken breast, green beans Snacks in afternoon: same as morning Supper: Meat and veggies of some sort, not starchy Bedtime snack: whey protein, peanut butter, coconut milk (unsweetened), blended with ice...sometimes add sugar free whipped cream this is just a typical day. sometimes I have eaten like this, plus a bag of pork rinds, or a whole can of peanuts. I have also eaten a whole 16oz jar of peanut butter in 2 days more than once in the past two weeks. I am at a loss as to why I am so hungry, but thankful my metabolism is not totally shot and I have only gained 2lbs above my limit of 193. |
