Default Struggling with Protein
I have no idea how I am going to get the protein necessary in this diet. I'm a vegetarian and really can't eat meat. I don't eat eggs either. I haven't tried cottage cheese in a LONG time, but the thought of it makes me gag (although I am wondering if I could blend it up with some berries and stevia...would this change the texture somewhat?). I tried Morningstar Farms beef crumbles for lunch today and they were disgusting (any suggestions on how to make them taste good are welcome!). I have the Quorn Naked Chik'n Cutlets that I will try tomorrow, but after eating the crumbles today, I'm not too hopeful.

I suppose I can try a protein shake (I have some Jay Robb available). Other than that...what can I eat? I know I am going off protocol anyway by doing the fake meat and protein shake. I want to be careful to stay as close as possible here.

I guess I don't get much protein normally (beans, peanut butter and yogurt primarily). This is why I need this diet to begin with (too many carbs!). Could I try greek yogurt?

I really want to make this work. I would love any suggestions.

TIA!
