I want to stay on Phase 2 as long as I can, hopefully the 43 days. How long must I wait before starting Phase 2 again. I am afraid if I go to Phase 3, I will have a terrible time getting back on Phase2 because I will enjoy eating different foods. Can I just take a very short break like load for 2days then go back on Phase 2? Or what is the minimum amount of days I HAVE to wait to make this work? I have alot of weight to lose even after Phase 2, it will be like 60 more lbs. This diet likes me, so I would like to get this off while it is working so well........lol.

The way I understand it, P3 is very important for stabilization and making sure that you don't gain all the weight right back. I think even people who play with the protocol and "cycle" do a significant P3, but I could be wrong.
Disclaimer: I'm a newbie and there will be more experienced people along soon to answer, I'm sure. |

It is best over all to take the 6 weeks off between round 1 and 2 (3 weeks ph 3 and 3 weeks ph 4) and longer yet between later rounds. This gives your body the time it needs to adjust to the weight you have lost by that stage, lets your skin re-adjust and firm up and to give your liver a break from processing all the fat that you have been loosing in ph 2.

I am in my second P3/P4. Like you, I can't wait to get back to finishing the job I started. I find P3/P4 kind of boring even though I enjoy eating more. I love the excitement of P2! Adrenaline junkie at heart. I will tell you that I know I need this P3/P4 period to tighten up my skin. I want these results to last a lifetime so 6 (for me 8 weeks) is a small price to pay. Keep up the good work!
