Question about Stabilizing

I still have 3 weeks left on P2, however I think I am going to get close to my goal, but miss it by about 5 pounds or so.

Sooooo.... Im wondering about P3. Does the stabilization process and resetting the Hypothalmus HAVE to happen within 3 weeks of the HCG?

I have had success with low carb before and I was wondering if I could do P3 with excersize to continue to lose weight, instead of keeping it steady. But once I do lose that last 5 pounds, then do a 3 week process of keeping my weight within that 2 pound range to "stabilize". Will that work?

P3 is about maintaining your losses, getting a new set-point, and not trying to lose weight.

Additionally, exercise just doesn't work for most people. Yes, cutting out sugars and starches will be beneficial in weight loss. (The book in my signature addresses these topics and others.)

Personally, the more I read about these things, the more I am convinced that HCG is unique to any other method with the end result of reshaping as well as resetting the hypothalamus.

Many people add exercise in P3 for muscle toning.

Others have tried what you are talking about. There was a thread about the question about exercise & weight loss a few weeks ago.

Good luck!

Does anyone have the answer to the first question she asked? Does stabilizing have to happen within 3 weeks of P3?

I was almost at P4 when my weight stopped fluctuating. Part was eating habits and part was body getting used to the new weight.
P4 was nice to me last time.
I think there is not an easy answer to the question.
There are a lot of variables that go into it but the overall answer should be yes.

Hoping P3 of this round is the same.

Thanks for the reply. i'm just hoping I can get my weight back down before it stabilizes!! I'm almost to P4.

I am almost finished with my second week of P4. My weight stabilized within the first two weeks in P3 and also first two weeks in P4. I believe in this protocol. Its amazing how my weight has stuck. I think its important for you to stabilize in P3 before moving to P4 whetehr it takes you 3 weeks or 5. Most people do stabilize in the first 3 weeks. I know I did. I have one more round. So I had 3 weeks P3, 4 weeks P4. And back to P2. Adding exercise didn't make a difference for me except in reshaping my body. My body help on to my weight regardless of how hard I work out or if I don't work out. LOL. which means I will probably be unable to lose weight without hcg. But as long as I get to goal and maintain, I am cool with that.

But as long as I keep getting closer to my LIW and don't stay at a higher weight, I shouldn't stabilize yet, right?
