Default Big Losers, how are you doing it?
For everyone out there having big losses, what is your trick? What are some things that you are doing that you think are making you so successful? Please give any tips, pointers, etc.

My secret was being born with outy plumbing and a Y chromosome

Seriously though, men lose better for no reason other than being male.

LOL. That made me smile. What do you do though? I'm trying to figure out the life of an HCG'er.

I adhere to Dr. Simeons' protocol to the letter.

I had a lot of success by eliminating a fruit serving each day and avoiding the melba toast/breadsticks all together. I also drank a ton of green tea and walked a half hour each day.

No place to click on a journal in the signature line that I can see other than Super Secret Squirrel Loading Group and that didn't take me to your journal. LOL.

I have not been eating the melba toast every day and probably half of the fruit I am supposed to eat. I am getting tired of spinach, cabbage, and asparagus. How do you prepare some of your veggies?

SWAB'S ROUND 1 hCG JOURNAL: A slow descent into svelte madness

Sorry, I was tracking my progress there, but the new editing rules (that came in this week) made me drop it as a project. There's still a fair amount of information in there though ~

What are the new editing rules? I thoroughly enjoyed your blogs and decided to post my own. I think it will be part of the process of keeping off this weight...

Oops, I spoke too soon. Jarret had not discarded me (like something he found on the bottom of his sandal), but he actually has a life and was busy *sheepish* lol

I guess we'll get back to being able to edit posts longer than just a day prior (which was the change that was made restricting you to just stuff you did the day before), so I'll start back up with my journal.

I ate all that was allowed, stayed faithful to water, took time between rounds to stabilize. Ate more protein than plan said. No sugar-carb-fat cheats during P2-one round I did and I paid. Added more activity when losses slowed.

Stick to the original protocol as close as possible (if it ain't broke...). I drink a delicious weightloss coffee from Cordoba Wellness, matcha tea, and dash of ACV to my (pure) water. About a 45 minute walk, and 25 crunches each morning, 6 days a week. Added B12 to my 'usual' supplements (no omega oils). An epsom salt soak 2-3 times per week. I only eat the melba/crissini if my total 500 cals. allows.
I'll be posting my weekly 6 week result this afternoon.... stay tuned.

thanks fatfighter, I get busy and lose track of the forum, but keep coming back to check in every couple months. It also helps me keep focused and my weight off. I am a big believer in HCG and if you follow it religiously you will lose weight. For maintaining I try to not allow more than a 3 pound gain at any time, when I do gain from a party or a few days of bad eating, I buckle down and eat correctly until those couple pounds are gone. I also feel getting on the scale every day helps me keep weight off and stay at my current weight. I am still maintaining and the more months that go by, the easier it is getting to make good food choices all the time. As the saying goes, I definitely enjoy my current weight and ability to wear any clothes I like, more than eating food that makes me gain. I just try to eat a balanced diet, my long term diet is rich in vegetables, fruits, and proteins, and low in carbs - even good grains I try to keep at a minimum. If I crave something sweet or a dessert, I really practice portion control like a small chocolate, or a couple bites of dessert. I am not able to do lots of exercise because of a health condition, but I do try to be more active best I can - adding more steps into my day, and some minor toning with light weights when I feel good.

I hope you reach your goals, I know you will if you follow plan! Good luck.
