This is probably going to be a tough month for me. I've got like 10 days of travel.
sub 215 is my goal. I think its pretty doable. |
Well I am down my first of eight! Off to a good start, especially given the fact that we went to a Mexican restaurant last night! I had one soft shell taco, chicken, and only ate the inner stuff...dh at the TWO corn tortilla wraps that it came it! I did eat ONE chip with salsa...but the salsa wasn't hot enough for me so it wasn't worth eating any more than one. Thank you server for bringing the dull stuff!

I am new to Atkins so i hope to lose a good amount this month if i'm good.
How much do you think is achievable in a month. I am 156 pounds now. I was 160 pounds on Tuesday. |
Well Dolly I don't know how much you can lose in a month - I would certainly try for a healthy loss - maybe 1-2 pounds a week?!
Good news for me - 5 days in and I have lost my 2nd pound for the month. Not sure why it is coming off so much quicker at the moment - but I am sure it won't last so I will enjoy it while I can. That's 12 pounds for me since the end of May - my clothes are starting to get baggy! Darn! July - A month where goals become reality
So...let's start the month of July on a positive note! Pick a REALISTIC goal and enjoy the lazy days of summer - all while losing a little of yourself (in a positive way of course!)

So I think that this month I am going to strive for 7 pounds. I was only going to strive for four pounds - 1 pound a week - but I have been wanting to kick up the exercise and this is the month to do so. I may have to reconsider mid-month. I THINK that this a a realistic goal but I may discover otherwise.

I'm going to continue with my original goal of 205 by August 1st. This will be slightly harder because of not actually hitting my goal last month, but I came close and I have high hopes.
