Default Dog Friendly Businesses
So apparently Bass Pro is dog friendly. This is the first I have heard of it and I guess I was the last to know. So I'm curious. What other places are dog friendly that I might not know about? Perhaps we could get a list going and make it a sticky or something.

Tractor supply, Lowe's. Cabela's usually has covered kennels out back that you can leave your dog and lock while you shop.

I've never heard of Bass Pro being Dog friendly either. I'll have to look into that one! Also be careful!! Just because the place is dog friendly doesn't mean you can take your Pit Bull. If the city has regulations against Pit Bulls, you cannot take them. Its also a good Idea to call a head and let them know you are coming and you are bringing your dog rather then Just walking in.

I investigated just in case because I didn't even believe they were dog friendly. Apparently people bring pit bulls in all the time and they are super pro pit bull. Or maybe it is just this one. I guess they're used for hunting a lot and other activities so the staff was like "Heck yeah! Bring her in! We have pit bulls in here all the time and they're the best!" I am excited!

Forgot to mention Sea World. They have kennels you can check your dog into. They are covered and have misters and an attendant and the whole nine yards.

Who brings their dog to Sea World? I mean I can see a store like "Hey I was out with my dog and remembered I gotta pick something up" or whatever but an amusement park? Then again I think I will be taking advantage of that and bringing my dogs on more vacations.

Some people do bring their dogs on vacations with them. And Some hotels don't allow you to leave dogs to be left unattended in the rooms. Therefore if you leave they have to leave too.

I'm still looking into it LOL...About Bass Pro that is.

that is way cool about sea world, I would much rather that than leave the dog in the hotel, who knows if a maid would walk in even with the do not disturb sign on and what a dog in a strange place without an owner around would do...anyhow...

Rural King does also (donno how far away they go in the franchise but either way)

You know what the best way is to find out if a place is dog friendly??? ...CALL THEM! You can really call any place and ask, you may be surprised with their answer. Just say "Are leashed dogs allowed in your store?" and if they say no, you didn't lose anything in asking!

Tractor Supply is my dogs' second home... I go there a LOT and usually have a dog with me.

Canadas wonderland has the same thing as sea world.
They have kennels and a kennel staff.

All the local feed & pet stores, of course. Lowes, Home Depot, Wholesale Sports. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

My Home Depot and my Hobby Lobby only allow small dogs. Lowes, Gamestop, and Micheals allow dogs.

Most Best Buys, if positioned near a Petsmart, allow dogs too.

Only because they don't want to hinder you from buying a TV just because you chose to come in after picking up your dog from a bath.

I'm going to make a list and start calling around! I love taking Snow with me to go to town but there is a law against leaving animals in vehicles (as there should be). I would love to be able to take her to places I like to go and shop.

Let us know how that goes! I'm also going to do that for my town. I may rarely have to leave my dogs behind from now on!
