I live by the mountain, with lots of open space. I decided to walk Buddy down a different road. We're having fun, when Buddy stops in his tracks and growls. A female pit bull comes out of an abandoned house, looks pregnant, and starts barking and coming closer. Oh shit, I start to back away when 2 male pit bulls come running around the side of the house!! All 3 start getting closer barking and growling. I am freaking out as I picture the 3 playing tug of war with Buddy! I start screaming at the top of my lungs for the owners, who weren't around. So I grabbed the biggest stick and start swinging and screaming nooo, bad dogs, while Buddy with his tail between his legs, tries to haul ass home!! At this point I'm backing away praying they don't attack. Eventually they stop advancing and we got away! My god talk about an adrenalin rush! So now I'm trying to decide if I should call animal control, knowing that they'd probably be euthanized since they are strays.
