"Friends, we cannot believe that for the second time in two weeks, we have to break the horrible news that a puppy has been set on fire in Philadelphia. Named Hercules by Pennsylvania SPCA staff, the puppy was immediately transferred to Animal Alliance of New Jersey for emergency care. He suffered extensive burns and smoke inhalation, but is expected to make a full recovery.

We are outraged, disgusted, and frustrated. Something has to change. If you feel the same way, and would like to know how you can help make Philadelphia a safer place for animals, please join us for Justice for Chloe, A Rally to End Animal Abuse on July 12th, 7pm at the Pennsylvania SPCA headquarters on 350 E.
