So it's getting close to that time for my family and I to pcs to Ft. Lewis, WA. I decided to live off post due to being back on the mainland and hoped of getting an APBT. But it seems like even off post housing are banning "Pitbull Type" dogs. Its like I can't win for losing. The media and bad owners have really made it hard for myself and others who want a chance to own such a wonderful animal. I just wish there was something I could do.

You probably can do something! I'd check to see if there might be Bully type rescue orgs. near your new, mainland home.

If there are, you get to help out, and perhaps find resources for Bully friendly housing.

there are a rare few places that allow pit bulls up there, but its HARD to find them. just keep looking!
