Yeah. She's saying all the dogs in her life will probably die around the same time, and she's having a hard enough time dealing with the loss of one.
I think she's addressing the members of the forum, asking us to look past the mistake she made in breeding the dogs in the first place, in order to help her deal with it when they start to die. |

That is absolutely a real possibility. When you have had a number of dogs together for a long period of time or the bulk of their lives, when one goes, the others often mourn the loss and quickly go downhill as well. That is one reason I don't understand people wanting to get a couple of puppies at a time. I much prefer four or more years between them.

Zoey-3 yrs, Bella--2 yrs and the foster Cooper--about 2-3 yrs old. and of course, that doesn't include the cats.... Pokie is about 6-7-8 yrs old, we have no idea, but in that range.. I think he "found" us in '03, or maybe '04....can't remember which. Cross I got from my sister at Easter 06. he's a psycho wild, crazy cat that torments the dogs, but after what happened to my sister, I am very glad I have his mean, ole' crusty butt! |

I think about this every day. I know my cats have grown attachments to my dogs and the same vice versa. They are all VERY close in age and a very tigt pack. (Even the cats my dogs respect me to know they are mine as well) all this year raja was born may 21st (we think) malice was.born june 4th mozart nov 20th and willow were guestimating for december 1st. Worst mistake ever. And I realize now im going to regret this down the road...=\
