Ever since he got her a month or two back, every single time they are around each other which is not very often at all, she HAS to hump him and I cannot figure out why, it is pretty hilarious though considering he doesn't even acknowledge she is doing it.
Was just curious if there was a reason for this...... |

Domination. She`s trying to be the leader. My dogs Reno is the dominant dog over Zena.He humps her when playing ruff. Some times Zena gets pissed off when he takes her bone or toy and she gets all crazy eyed and trys humping him.he could care less and keeps chewing on what ever it was of hers he took. It`s funny to watch.as long as they don`t fight I would not worry about it.

He's her bitch.
![]() It could also be excitement. Scarling gets humpy when she's over excited and she is nowhere near a dominant dog. ![]() I'm of the school that it is a potential fight trigger, even if it's just out of excitment as the other dog could decide to ''care'' about the situation at any point in time, so I put a stop to it myself. |

Yea she licks that as well, along with his balls, she is a sick freak LMAO. I yell at her and make her stop, but the second I move more than 5 feet from her she goes right back to him. That is when I say, in your crates, and they both mope to their crates all depressed. ![]() Sorry everyone else has already given the good answers |

I think I remember reading that dogs use secretions from the penis to mark things- that's why a dog humping another dog's head one of the most serious acts of dominance. I think she's trying to prevent him from marking anything with his scent as well as dominating him.
I could be wrong, though. I don't remember where I read that. |
