So reading the comments on the video most peope feel these dogs behaviour indicate that they are scared, abused, neglected w.e.
And i was just wondering if they look scared to you?
And why/why not?

Also i lol'd at this.. What's wrong with people.

I haven't watched the videos yet but shouldn't this be in the American bully forum?

---------- Post added at 11:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:20 PM ----------

Well the dogs in the first bullies do seem a little scared but I don't know of that means they are abused or anything and the second video is simpley WTF.hopefully they meant ukc registerd and not akc.idk if the people in the video said anything at all bc I'm on my iPod and the videos had no volume.

The first video: the dogs appear to be displaying submissive behavior.
Dipping their heads low, looking away abit, when they were walking up their tails were low and wagging..this can be a sign of them being just the submissive type or it can be a flag of some abuse but a heavily abused dog would act more fearful and shy away with not a wagging tail as it slowly approached and since no one knows how the person treats their dogs I'd call it active submission.

I do not think the dogs are showing fear from being beaten. I do think the dogs lack confidence could be from not having much human contact some people just throw food and water in but never really spend time with the dogs But it could also be caused by genetics.
I do think the dogs are Abused and neglected they are extremely over weight and out of shape and that is abuse in my opinion its not healthy.

They do seem wary, in the first video, practicing avoidance (looking away often, lowering heads) but that does not mean they're abused... Some dogs are very submissive to thier owners. I had a bitch like that, I'd call her over and she'd slink to me like I beat her every day
However, I think they are neglected, way over weight...

The 2nd vid was funny, his voice..

lol Ziggy greets people like that, i never thought he was fearful, Scruffy greets people like that as well sometimes. Never thought of it as fear, i thought it was respectful, not to be jumping and zoomin' all over the place..

I think they're depressed because they're so fat they can't breathe or move comfortably.

I thought they looked bored out of their minds. When they got up and started moving around it looked to me like a submissive dog happy to be seeing someone.

But you know, if it's a bully breed and it's not living in the house in the lap of luxury with satin sheets on it's own bed and a matched set of crystal dog bowls then it must be an abused dog that's being trained to kill.

My dog was smarter as an untrained 5 mo. old than some of the people who post in the comments on youtube.

I don't see ''fear'',I do see submissive behaviour, and the appearance of some mild physical discomfort(hesitancy to get up,switching bodyweight/positions often)

To say they were ''abused'',depends on what you consider abuse..... do they appear as though they were physically abused by the owners? No. Do they appear neglected? yes and no. Mental neglect? Yes.They appear understimulated mentally and just happy as hell to see someone Physical neglect? Not really. The kennels are fairly clean and its obvious they were fed (possibly too much),but there is no bedding in the dog box (vid 1-wood is bare) and they are laying on hard surfaces with a good bit of weight on those stubby legs.

Honestly,I think the dogs look painful due to the breeding and the way they are kept. That kind of build is NOT built for all hard surfaces, and personally i find such short legged bullies hard to look at and borderline 'abusive' in the way they are bred. The stature puts undue stress and causes pain on the joints and hard surfaces just make it look/be even more painful.

Tyson is like that when he greets people, he waits for you to tell him to come over, or he will lay down and slowly crawl to you. I think others are right, they are too uncomfortable to even move, its sad. And of course I left some not so nice comments.

Okay in the first video they do seem very very nervous and very submissive. I wouldn't call it abuse maybe. But they do seem off. It could be lack of human interaction and contact it could be the situation they are in who knows. Something though is making them extremely nervous

The dogs in the first video are too fat and out of shape for my liking. They are very unhealthy looking, and probably can't even go for a jog around the block. They do not look mean or beaten. However, I would not be surprised to learn that these owners just keep them confined in a small area without any mental stimulation. I wouldn't be surprised if they strapped them down with weights during the day to make them look bigger. I feel bad for dogs that are just locked up in the yard all day without being taken out to interact with other dogs and people.

The dog in the 2nd video looked mentally unstable at first with his stare, but he looked more normal towards the end of the video.

First video: Not enough information. It bothers me the dogs are so slow to want to play. However, if the camera person were a stranger or not their primary caretaker, then that would explain why it took so long for the animals to be roused into a playful mood. Most emotionally healthy Pit Bulls I've met are fast to play with their owners... and often strangers if they were socialized correctly.

Second video: Not enough information. It looks like the guy is choking the dog oor pulling the skin back so tightly it looks almost Chinese. The dog itself appears healthy. The person holding him could have just inadvertently have been doing something weird to him at the same time this was shot. It doesn't indicate abuse to me.

The only abuse I see is on the part of the breeder. The dogs act submissive, but not "flinchy" like they've been hit or anything. Consider that if/when those dogs play with other dogs, they will not be able to hold their own because there isn't an athletic bone in their body. Even sizing up other dogs when on a walk they'll know they're outmatched physically. They don't exhibit that pit-bull confidence because they have no reason to be confident. Any ability to be a badass has been bred out many generations ago. Submissive behavior likely goes hand in hand with being stub-legged rolly-polly marshmallow dogs.

I have commented on the pit bull AKC one before a while back and told them they were fools, that the dog was an ambully and no APBT is AKC. I swear some people!

As for the first vid those dogs I have to say are just really ugly. None of the dogs in any of the vids look scary or neglected to me. If anything to well fed.
