When he anticipates your moves inthe car and leans into the urns and knows when to put his foot up to brake, lol. ALright so Phoenix has been riding in the car with me since he was a puppy, I have a bit of road rage but have never been in an accident with my animals in the car. I have a car seat for toddlers in the back seat that my 5 yar old niece rides in, he thinks I put it in the car for him, lol. Anywayz he really does ride in it withthe window half cracked and his head hanging out, he puts his paw up on the headrest of the front seat when I brake and I have watched him lean into the turns when I turn, is freakin funny, I busted out laughing the other day when I noticed. Just hsows me he knows my driving, lol

Mollie is a very good "passenger"... she puts her rear foot up to brace herself against the back of the seat... and she never "falters" when I have to hit the breaks too fast.... Bella, however, has not learned how to be a good passenger, and every single time I hit the breaks, even if just normal stopping, she ends up in the floorboard, and has trouble "crawling" back up into the seat. However, with her "inside the vehicle" car chasing, she is now belted in... but still tries to chase passing cars...

jake has learned how to use the window buttons when its cold and dont want the windows down i have to lock them That's funny. Ruby slams her head into the back of the seat to stabilize for turns - that's pretty funny to watch. my farm truck is a 6pak truck, so the dogs have the whole back to themselves.. it is flat and carpeted...
if they ride in Judy's truck or my work truck, we have seat belt harnesses for them...they do not like that as well, but it is not an option, they know they are going to wear them, so when I pick up a harness... GG comes to me and lifts her paw for me to slide it on.... |

Uma used to sit on my lap while I was behind the wheel, it got a bit of an inconvenience once she crossed 25 lbs mark , now she is either enjoying the back seat or puts her front paws on the arm rest and watches the other drivers. When speeds exceed 45 mph she is usually curled up on the front passenger seat, and she is now triggering the annoying passenger seat belt light 8)
I have a car harness but it is still too big. |

my girl likes the car and pretty much lays down and goes to sleep, but as soon as we go over the bridge and into the woods, she gets excited and whimpers a little.(because she knows we are going to go camping at the cut block!) in the summer she sits on the floor and sucks up the A/C.
Flint used to get horribly car sick, after about 5 mins he would start drooling and blowing bubbles.yuck. |

Diesel just jumps in through the driver side and then instantly goes to the back seat and goes to town on all the empty water bottles that get tossed back there that I forget to throw away. The whole drive all I hear is the sound of crunching plastic. Diesel does two things that get me everytime... |
