Patch O Pits, thank you, that is exactly what I was refering to. I am one who is guilty of not knowing the standards because I dont do anythng with my dogs because without papers, the ADBA or AADR wont let me unless it is a fun show. If I get a papered dog in the future, I will be paying closer attention because as I was trying to say, it is very important.

What do you mean a dreamers website?

I thiknk it really depends on your prederence. I'm old fashioned! I like the game bred pits that don't weigh more than 50 lbs like my girl Sasha. I prefer when they are small and lean and just very athletic. I don't liek the bulky low riders. I think they're pretty but wouldn't want to own one. Just a matter of opinion.

When does the size of a pit bull concern ME? When he is sitting on my foot.

Saying that any dog being called a APBT over 65lbs is most likely a mix is BS. I have heard that more than once on here. Sure, it's not the norm, but there were, and are plenty of gamebred dogs/gamebred lines over 65 lbs..over 70lbs. It's not something that has only happend once or twice since the begining of APBT'S like some make it out to be.

That whole ''if it's over 45 pounds it's not a pit bull'' crap drives me batty. I've heard it so much, and no matter how much you prove otherwise, it's like talkin' to a brick wall...
