I got this book from my local library it's actually for kids4-6 grade. Written by Ingrid Lee. It tells about a little boy in the ghetto, his dad one night comes home from playing poker and plops this pup in his lap while he's sleeping and he finds out it's a pit bull. Well he trains the dog and she and the boy are happy. But the dad is mean and eventually drops the dog off in the middle of no where and it shows in the end how awesome these dogs are but with the usual stereotypes about the breed. I liked it.

lol there is nothing "american bully" about pete the pup. He was an American Pit Bull Terrier.
here's a link to his pedigree: http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com...e&dog_id=67627 |
