Default Has anyone noticed.....
if your dogs look embarrassed (that is the best I can desribe it without humanizing too much) when they vomit? Poor Logan drank too much water on an empty stomach and he threw it all up. After he did it, he had this pitiful look on his face. Of course I wasn't angry at him but the look on his face just said it all. Poor boy had large amounts of saliva hanging from his mouth so I took a towel and wiped his mouth.

Such innocent, helpless creatures.

Hah - after Bug vomits she looks as thrilled as ever (of course, she's never been truly sick when she's vomited).

That's so sweet, though Poor guy.

One time Joe farted and pooped a little and the look on his poor face could only be described as embarrassment.

today i fed the dogs after the walk like usual. i went into the other room for a few minutes and came back in and Thor had finished his, threw it up and was eating it all over again. it was like he got to eat two lunches because he was lapping it up like it was the best thing ever.

Lilly always runs and hides after she vomits. Poor girl acts like she will be in trouble over it. Shay will look at it and then at me like"are you going to get that"

Odie looks that way when you watch him poop. Like mom I'm pooping here! But that's what he gets for walking in on me.

Yes! Rosie always acts like she's going to get in trouble, but she NEVER does. It's not her fault she got sick. I always sit with her, trying to make her feel better while DH cleans up the mess.

Nick TRIES his hardest to get outside. I have learned that when he asks to go out, LET HIM OUT, NOW! The only time he asks to go out, is if he's going to throw up, so I open the door fast.
He doesn't always make it, but he does try. Gotta love him for that.

Bully just eats it. Lucy on the other hand acts as if I'm going to beat her (for the record I don't beat my dogs!!!) if she vomits or poops in the house due to diarrhea

If Toby vomits he lowers his head and slowly walks away from it like he thinks he is going to get in trouble, I usually wipe it up and give him a cuddle.

Bubba will just puke anywhere, he's just like "Oh...well that wasn't cool"

Riley is neurotic about it, though(of course). He won't puke in the same room as me and he won't do it on carpet. However, he once poop-puked(if you're unsure what this is...you don't want to know) on my mom...apparently his nice vomiting manners only last for me.

Yeah - Ruby looks at me like, "I'm sorry - I did bad..." I consciously keep my voice soft so I don't reinforce her sensitive feelings.

Atticus has only puked like three or four times. I remember the first time he puked, he was still little, like 9 or 10 weeks. He yakked up his food from running too much and he looked at me like "What the hell just happened?" before trying to eat it.

The last few months that Lefty was sick, he threw up all the time. He had this expression of guilt and just being so sick all I could do was wipe off his sweet cheeks and tell him it was ok.

Apollo gets embarrassed, and skulks over to the door, if we haven't managed to get him out by the time he pukes.
