Default Belly Rub - Leg Scratch
I have to ask. I notice my Katie does not scratch when you rub her belly, EVER. I have never seen this before. Does any one else have a dog with no scratch reflex? Should I be concerned?

Nope, you shouldnt. Apparently the belly isnt sensitive. Try different parts of the body, say the neck, by the ears, on the under side.. lots of dogs react differently to different touch. Mine if you scratch their necks, then the leg goes.

That is cute! Molly doesn't have one either. Logan has the biggest scratch reflex I have ever seen. It is precious.

Our dog used to scratch when she was a puppy, but she no longer does.

None of the dogs I had growing up had that scratch reflex.

Nothing wrong with your dog - it's just like some people are ticklish and others aren't

My Ruby's ticklish spot seems to migrate. Right now it's around one of her shoulder blades... LOL

Odie's tickle spot is right above his thighs. He will itch like crazy.
